Seçkin Yenici

1973 born artist studied textile-design at university. He met photography and cameras when he was a child thanks to his father. Lately in 2000`s, his real journey in photography began.

He has participated several collective exhibitions in Europe (“Day Begins From The East”- Stockholm) and presented four solo exhibitions. His works has been awarded in national and international photography competitions and published in photography magazines. In 2013 the photographer became one of the artists of Virtual Museum of Photography in Turkey.

Yenici was honoured with AFIAP (Artistè Fédération Internationale de l'Art Photographique ) and GPU(Global Photographic Union) Crown2 for the success he achieved in international competitions. His projects "Beyaz Altin" (White Gold), "Kumasin Hikayesi" (The story of fabric) and Hey Gidinin Efesi, brought him the most prestigious photography award of Turkey, Sami Güner Cup in 2016. The photographer is one of the selected artists of Turkish National Team for Reflected Image Section at 27th FIAP Colour Biennial in 2017 and awarded by FIAP Honourable Mension.
